This 1987 record includes Blades' own version of “El Cantante” — the song he wrote that became Héctor Lavoe's signature hit nearly a decade earlier. Hearing the writer take on his own material is a different experience than the version everyone knows, and it's reason enough to give this one a full listen even if the rest of the tracklist is new to you.
Genre: Latin / Salsa
Year: 1987
Label: Fania Records — LPS-99.934 / JM 645
Country: Venezuela
Condition: Media: VG / Sleeve: VG
Notes: Faint surface noise on B1 only, clears up quickly. Normal ringwear and tear on sleeve.
