Summer of Salsa with La Verdad
Enjoy an evening with La Verdad, a premier West Coast–based Latin music ensemble deeply rooted in the vibrant Latino experience of Los Angeles. Led by award-winning singer and songwriter Gabriel Gonzalez (Quetzal, Boogaloo Assassins), La Verdad brings together world-class musicians in a dynamic fusion of traditional and original Latin American roots music.
Their diverse repertoire includes salsa, cha cha chá, boogaloo, funk, and Latin soul, delivering an electrifying live experience that resonates with audiences while celebrating cultural authenticity.
To celebrate the Summer of Salsa, Latin Gold Records will be putting out a special collection of Latin vinyl, ranging from Fania classics featuring Ray Barretto, Celia Cruz, and Johnny Pacheco as well as a range of mariachi, ranchera, bolero, and cumbia music from across the Latin comunidad.
Doors open at 6 pm with a free salsa dance lesson led by Dancing 101 with Roberto. The music and dancing continue until 11 pm. Bring your chairs, blankets, and best dance moves for a night of music and celebration. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The Summer of Salsa continues — and I’m clearing the shelves to make room for what’s coming.
Everything currently live on Linked Site Title that hasn’t sold yet is now up to 20% off, now through July 5th. New arrivals are on the way, so if you’ve had your eye on something, now’s the time to grab it before it’s gone.
For this sale, 10% of profits will be donated to Sun.Risas’ Venezuela Earthquake Relief campaign — supporting communities affected by this week’s devastating earthquakes.

Record Store Day Online Sale
EVERYTHING MUST GO.
I’m doing my first ever discount sale — and it starts RIGHT NOW.

I’m getting ready to drop a whole new batch of records in May, and I need to make room. So every record that’s still available on Latin Gold Records is discounted to move. No coupon needed. No tricks. Just go check it out.
Sale is “technically” officially live TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT through Sunday, April 19th at 11:59 PM PST (but there are some things already discounted!!!)
And that’s not all — I’ll be popping up at The Soraya this weekend with an all-Latin vinyl selection, and I’m giving away a pair of tickets to Chavela y Sus Mujeres.
Happy digging.
