Ricardo Ray — “Viva Ricardo”
Ricardo Ray was one of the sharpest pianists to come out of the New York boogaloo scene — classically trained, but with a left hand that could turn a dance floor upside down. Viva Ricardo is a 1969 UA Latino original, right at the moment boogaloo was starting to give way to salsa's dominance.
Genre: Latin / Boogaloo
Year: 1969
Label: UA Latino Records
Country: US
Condition: Media: G+ / Sleeve: G
Notes: Two split seams (top and bottom), missing fold material on top back cover — sleeve visually presentable despite structural loss. Surface noise on media, plays through without skipping.
