Red Hot Chili Peppers — “Freaky Styley”
The second RHCP album and the one that defined their funk-punk DNA before the world caught up with them. Produced by George Clinton in 1985. It was basically Parliament-Funkadelic meeting punk-funk from LA, and the result was too weird and too ahead of its time to be a hit, which is exactly why it rules.
Genre: Rock / Funk / Alternative Rock
Year: 1985
Label: EMI America / Enigma — ST-17168
Country: US
Condition: Media: VG+ / Sleeve: VG
Notes: Jacksonville pressing. Hole punch top right corner of sleeve. Minor cover creases. Media plays clean.
