Ray Barretto — "Todo Se Va Poder"
The setup to Aquí Se Puede — and the record where Barretto’s 80s band first locked in. Todo Se Va Poder (1984) introduced the core lineup: Jimmy Bosch on trombone, Jimmy Delgado on timbales, Angel Fernández and Wilson Torres on trumpets, Ricky González on piano, and Ray Saba on lead vocals. The título track became an anthem. Tite Curet Alonso contributed “Aquí Se Puede” as a composition for the next album — this record was the audition the band needed to prove they could carry it.
Genre: Latin / Salsa
Year: 1984
Label: Fania Records — JM-633
Country: US
Condition: Media: VG+ / Sleeve: VG
Notes: Still in shrink. Minor edgewear on sleeve. VG+ vinyl plays strong.
