Patti Smith Group — "Radio Ethiopia"

$20.00

Radio Ethiopia is Patti Smith Group turning art-punk into something closer to noise. This is the record where the band pushed past Horses’ poetry-meets-rock template into something rawer and more improvisational — the ten-minute title track was recorded live, all feedback and free-form guitar. "Pissing In A River" and "Ask The Angels" are the ones that stick, but the whole thing is Patti Smith refusing to repeat herself.

Genre: Rock / Garage Rock / Art Rock

Year: 1976

Label: Arista — AL 4097

Country: US

Condition: Media: VG+  /  Sleeve: VG

Notes: Includes original fold-over insert with text and photos. Sleeve has minor wear.
