Celia Cruz and Johnny Pacheco built one of salsa's great partnerships on Vaya Records, and Tremendo Caché is deep in that run — guaracha, merengue, bomba, and bolero moving through the same record without ever losing the thread. This is the sound of two legends who trusted each other completely, trading the lead like it was second nature.
Genre: Latin / Salsa, Guaracha, Bolero
Year: 1975
Label: Vaya Records — XVS-37
Country: US
Condition: Media: G+ / Sleeve: VG
Notes: A1 has a warp defect — physically felt, audible on lightweight playback equipment, but does not cause a skip; track plays through fully. B1 has a similar audible artifact (a "whoosh" over a comparable bump) that resembles a skip but is not one. Rest of the LP plays cleanly. Sleeve shows natural ringwear.
