Alexandro Jodorowsky — "El Topo (Original Motion Picture Score)"
Jodorowsky scored his own midnight-movie masterpiece, and John Lennon loved it so much he got Apple Records to put it out in the US. El Topo turned acid-Western surrealism into something closer to a religious experience — Tibetan thighbone trumpets crash into chamber strings and parlor jazz, unclassifiable in exactly the way the film is. This is the original 1971 Jacksonville pressing, gatefold intact, on the label the Beatles built.
Genre: Soundtrack (Jazz / Latin / Stage & Screen)
Year: 1971
Label: Apple Records — SWAO 3388
Country: US
Condition: Media: Very Good (VG) / Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Notes: Jacksonville pressing, gatefold sleeve. Media has audible surface noise throughout; sleeve shows minor seam scuffs but presents well overall.
